Track Prep

Alignment, corner balancing, suspension, brakes and tires set up for the track. Bring the car; we'll get it ready for the weekend.

We drive these cars on track ourselves, so track prep isn’t a checklist to us. It’s making sure the car is safe, predictable and fast for the conditions you’re going to see at Sonoma, Laguna Seca, Thunderhill or Buttonwillow.

Alignment. A 3D aligner and settings chosen for how you actually drive. Street, dual-duty or full track spec, with recommendations to dial out understeer or oversteer.

Corner balancing. The last step for a car on coilovers. We set cross-weight to 50% so the car turns the same left and right and brakes evenly on all four tires.

Suspension. Coilovers, springs, sway bars, camber and toe arms, bushings and bearings from the brands we trust: KW, Nitron, Mountain Pass Performance, N2itive, Eibach and Bilstein.

Brakes. Pads, rotors, lines and fluid rated for repeated hard stops. Being able to slow the car down matters on track and it matters on the street.

Tires and wheels. A leverless tire changer that doesn’t scratch your wheels, and a Hunter Road-Force balancer that simulates the tire on the road rather than just spinning it.

Cooling. Oil, transmission and power-steering coolers and upgraded radiators for cars that get hot on warm track days.
